چکیده
In this work, we have prepared BiOI/CNT composites by hydrothermal method and studied the impact of CNT treatment conditions (temperature time) simultaneously on phenomena such as crystallization. The samples were using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), nitrogen sorption (Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) specific surface areas), Scanning Electron Microscopy assisted with Energy Dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX), High Resolution Transmission (HRTEM), UV–vis Diffuse Reflectance (DRS), Raman photoluminescence (PL). different heat treatments applied varied amount was found to a profound effect structural, morphological, compositional optical properties composites. distinguishable changes in above-mentioned clearly visible for at higher temperature longer duration (150 °C, 6.30 h). Surprisingly, presence other phases BiOI, Bi7O9I3, Bi4O5I2, Bi5O7I, also co-existed same time, although low amount. Finally, study, photocatalytic efficiency tested phenol RhB, model pollutants, under light irradiation 240 min 120 min, respectively. results revealed that showed superior performance photodegradation RhB. Additionally, performed better than their respective reference each case. Interestingly, introduction promoted crystallinity promising removal RhB achieved use power ordinary lamps.

Heterojunctions of p-BiOI Nanosheets/n-TiO₂ Nanofibers: Preparation and Enhanced Visible-Light Photocatalytic Activity.
p-BiOI nanosheets/n-TiO₂ nanofibers (p-BiOI/n-TiO₂ NFs) have been facilely prepared via the electrospinning technique combining successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR). Dense BiOI nanosheets with good crystalline and width about 500 nm were uniformly assembled on TiO₂ nanofibers at room temperature. The amount of the heterojunctions and the specific surface area were well control...

متن کاملFacile synthesis of a ZnO–BiOI p–n nano-heterojunction with excellent visible-light photocatalytic activity
In this paper, an efficient method to produce a ZnO/BiOI nano-heterojunction is developed by a facile solution method followed by calcination. By tuning the ratio of Zn/Bi, the morphology varies from nanoplates, flowers to nanoparticles. The heterojunction formed between ZnO and BiOI decreases the recombination rate of photogenerated carriers and enhances the photocatalytic activity of ZnO/BiOI...
متن کاملA Novel Heterostructure of BiOI Nanosheets Anchored onto MWCNTs with Excellent Visible-Light Photocatalytic Activity
Developing efficient visible-light-driven (VLD) photocatalysts for environmental decontamination has drawn significant attention in recent years. Herein, we have reported a novel heterostructure of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) coated with BiOI nanosheets as an efficient VLD photocatalyst, which was prepared via a simple solvothermal method. The morphology and structure were characteriz...
